The Winter Coat Drive at Freeman Recovery Center helps men and women in recovery stay warm during the coldest months of the year. Through community generosity, we aim to collect 300 new coats for individuals rebuilding their lives, ensuring they feel supported with dignity, compassion, and real care this holiday season.
For many individuals in addiction recovery, financial barriers make essentials like warm clothing difficult to access. Our winter coat drive in Tennessee provides tangible support to people navigating early recovery, showing them they are valued members of our community. This initiative reminds every participant that healing extends beyond treatment, it includes feeling seen and supported.
Cold weather brings added challenges for people in crisis or transition. Providing high-quality, new coats helps protect individuals from harsh conditions while reinforcing their sense of worth and stability. Every donation contributes directly to someone striving toward sobriety, independence, and a healthier, more hopeful future.
The Freeman Recovery Center Winter Coat Drive runs from December 1 through December 25. Our Tennessee community has several weeks to participate and support individuals in recovery during the holiday season.

It is a way of life. The simplest most rewarding program that will change your life if you take certain suggestions.Posted on Dolos G This family is amazing..they will change your life. The medical staff is Second to None..Posted on MTB Freeks I love this place! I look forward to coming back Freeman Alumni I will forever be greatful for you giving me my life, family, sobriety, and marriage back! I came in and instantly wanted to leave I was scared and assumed how this place was based on looks then I made it to class and met the people and employees and fell in love! Like anywhere else its what you make of it. The EMDR therapy was phenomenal I was not a believer but it was one of the most helpful things I did I also enjoyed the Acupuncture. The only complaint I have is the staff that I loved are no longer there. Please reconsider bringing them back they helped me see the light!Posted on Robert York The staff are wonderful people and are changing people's lives.Posted on Andrew Odell I went there in 2019 and completed all three stages!! The staff and counselors were amazing and very knowledgeable and helpful, they did anything they could for anyone hands down highly recommend them to anyone I know battling addiction!Posted on Amy Grisham This is my second review. It will be just wonderful as my first. My husband was here last year and they were wonderful. Unfortunately at no fault of anyone there he is now back. This second time they were just as wonderful. They got him a bed the first day he called them. When he arrived they all welcomed him again. No one ever wants to have their family member to have to go through addiction but thank God for people like Freeman who truly care and want nothing but the best. I look forward to watching my husband’s progress and being there every step of the way. Thank you Freeman for caring and not ever giving up.
