Dr. Louis Lerebours’ Leadership in Mental Health and Advocacy
Louis Lerebours M.D. is a board-certified Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine physician. He earned his B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science from The University of Florida and his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. Following medical school, he completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Center for Health Policy and later pursued further training in Addiction Medicine through Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
Since October 2024, Dr. Lerebours has served as Medical Director at Freeman Recovery Center where he provides clinical leadership for addiction treatment services across multiple levels of care.
Dr. Lerebours is passionate about helping patients achieve lasting recovery by fostering therapeutic relationships grounded in empathy and respect. His mission is to ensure every patient receives nonjudgmental, evidence-based care that supports long-term health, wellness, and recovery.
