Statewide Statistics on Addiction & Rehab in the Volunteer States

Statewide Statistics on Addiction & Rehab in the Volunteer States

In 2021, there were 106,699 drug overdose deaths in the U.S., which rose to 112,000 by 2023. People who were enrolled in residential rehabilitation programs had the highest reduction in frequency of substance use after three months. Unfortunately, one of the effects of substance use disorder is incarceration. Roughly 1 in every 5 persons in jail is locked up for a drug offense.

However, people do not get treatment in jail. Instead, incarceration typically interrupts treatment by cutting people off from medically managed care. Studies have shown that people who stay in treatment longer are five times more likely to remain abstinent from their substance use. Data from a two-year study showed that those in intensive outpatient program substance use or mental health treatment programs had a lower risk of hospitalization and people with a diagnosis of a personality disorder also benefited from outpatient treatment when the program met their complex emotional needs.

I attended Freeman Recovery for treatment in February of 2022 - October of 2022, and I'll have to say, that it was a super positive experience! This was my fourth attempt at getting sober and going through a residential treatment program. I ended up staying several months in their sober living program to ensure I had the tools I needed to achieve and maintain a healthy sobriety! I have to say that everyone I encountered while here, from the owner and his family, all the way to the volunteers were professional and caring! They really care about your welfare and will go to any lengths to pass on the gift of sobriety! If you have a loved one or you yourself are looking for a solution to the endless cycle of addiction you owe it to yourself to give Freeman Recovery a call! They are the best in the business and I can't recommend them highly enough! They saved my life. Won't you let them save yours?

Do Rehab Centers in the State of Tennessee Take Health Insurance?

Most rehab centers in Tennessee take health insurance. Freeman Alcohol and Drug Addiction Center works with many insurance providers to ensure you have access to treatment.
